At Taranest, every artwork — whether a one-of-a-kind painting or a fine-art print — is packaged with exceptional care to ensure it arrives safely and beautifully. This Shipping Policy explains delivery times, packaging standards, shipping fees, locations covered, and what to do if something goes wrong.

2. Processing Times
Original Paintings

Processing & packaging: 3–7 business days

Each painting is packaged professionally (custom protective corners, padded layers, rigid crates or reinforced boxes).
Fine-Art Prints

Processing time: 2–5 business days (depending on size)

Prints are shipped in heavyweight protective tubes or flat rigid mailers for smaller sizes.
Processing time does not include shipping/delivery time.

4. Shipping Costs

Large original paintings may incur higher shipping rates due to custom packaging and international freight costs.
We occasionally offer free shipping promotions — these will be clearly displayed on the website.
5. Packaging & Protection
We use professional, gallery-standard packaging:
Original Paintings

Double-layer insulation

Reinforced boxes or custom wooden crates (for large works)
Prints

Acid-free tissue

Protective sleeve

Heavy-duty mailing tubes (for large prints)

Rigid flat mailers (for small prints)
All packaging is designed to minimize risk of bending, moisture, and impact damage.
6. Tracking Information
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.
Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear in the carrier’s system.
7. Customs, Import Duties & Taxes
For international orders outside the EU, additional customs fees or import taxes may apply.

They are the responsibility of the buyer.

Taranest is not responsible for customs delays or refusal of packages by customs authorities.
We recommend checking your country’s import regulations before placing an order.
8. Failed Delivery or Returned Packages
If a package is returned to us due to incorrect address, unclaimed delivery, or refusal to pay customs:

We can reship the package at the buyer’s expense, or

Issue a refund minus shipping costs (prints only)
Original paintings will only be reshipped — not refunded — unless damaged in transit.
9. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages
If your package appears lost, delayed, or stolen:

Contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number.

If the issue is not resolved, email us at info(at-sign)taranest.com.
We will:

Start a carrier investigation

Assist in locating the parcel

Offer replacement (for prints) after claim resolution

For original paintings: issue a refund only after the carrier officially confirms the loss
We are not responsible for:

Packages stolen after successful delivery

Incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer
10. Damaged Artwork Upon Arrival
If your artwork arrives damaged:
You must notify us within 7 days of delivery with:

Photos of the outer box
-
Photos of the inner packaging
-
Photos of the damage to the artwork

Order number
We will offer:

A replacement (for prints)
-
A full refund (for damaged original paintings)

Replacement packaging if applicable
Damage caused by mishandling after delivery cannot be refunded.
11. Pre-Orders & Limited Editions
If we offer pre-order items or limited-edition releases:

The estimated ship date will be clearly listed on the product page.

Orders combining pre-order items and in-stock items will be shipped together unless otherwise requested.
